Our House!!!

We have a home!!!

We just began the process of house hunting last week and we quickly learned that Travis and I have different expectations and needs. But after some weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth... we walked into this house and knew it was OUR home. Apparently so did three other couples. So we did the dance. We engaged in a bidding war and just found out WE WON!
So we are getting our inspections done this week and should hopefully close by September 22nd! Pray for us.

It looks awesome! Good luck with the move! I assume you are still in the ward, or was moving Travis's way of getting out of his bishop duties (hahaha). We miss you guys!

Congrats, I love it! Good luck with closing. I hated that part just as much as I hated the whole process of finding a house. But in the end it's worth it!

CONGRATS! That is so exciting!! Please tell me that the music comes with the home too...it was fabulous1 Wouldn't it be awesome to have old Bishop Reed carry his little wifie across the thresh-hold of their new house with that amazing music ringing! Okay, I'm kidding...but I really am excited for you guys! Congrats!

I am still puzzled as why you won't buy a home OUTSIDE of the ward boundaries. Did you not see your chance to escape?

I am so happy for both of you!!!The house is perfect for New Englanders!!! (I absolutely love center entrance cape cods with front dormer windows and enter entrance colonials in white with black shutters. They are my very favorite houses.) The fireplace flanked by windows, the entrance way complete with two doorways, the built in corner cabinets, the classic open wooden staircase with white spindles, the interior glass and pocket doors, the wide moldings painted white, and the hardwood floors add to the exquisite craftsmanship and charm of this home. You never need to move - really - it's just perfect! I am so happy for you. You both have great taste. I know by the quality of this home. I cannot wait to show the pics to Uncle Kyle. I know that he will like it, too. I hope all goes smoothly as you close. You should be able to find some gorgeous furniture to go with the architecture through craigslist, house sales, and ebay - brand names, such as: Drexel Heritage, Ethan Allen, Pennsylvania House, etc. Won't it be such fun to decorate? This house screams updated cottage style.... :) Enjoy. :)
